I had a wonderful time at the hotel, which is ideally situated for ferry trips to Mackinac Island and has its own lovely beach area. My room was clean with a fantastic view of the lake. Although the dining experience was pricey, the food was quite tasty, especially at The Club. A few hiccups included limited breakfast hours and some noisy kids around the pool, which made it less than perfect at times.

I had a wonderful time at this resort! The beachfront access made for a relaxing stay, and I loved the evening bonfires with fellow guests. The rooms had beautiful views of the lake, but I did notice some areas of improvement in dining options. Overall, it's a charming place worth the visit, especially for families.

I had a lovely stay at the resort with fantastic views of Lake Huron right from my room. The beach access was a highlight, making it easy to enjoy the sand and water. Although the breakfast options were decent, they could use a bit more variety. Also, the layout of the sink outside the bathroom wasn't my favorite, but overall, the experience was quite enjoyable.

Rooms
8.0
Our room had a wonderful beach view and was comfortable, but the sink being outside the bathroom was a bit inconvenient, especially at night.

The service was attentive and helpful, particularly when it came to arranging ferry tickets to Mackinac Island.

The location was ideal for exploring local attractions, including the ferry service to Mackinac Island, and the beach right at our doorstep was a major plus.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast had some solid choices, and the restaurant served high-quality meals in a pleasant atmosphere, but a bit more variety would enhance the experience.

7.0/10

I had a decent experience at Breakers, serving as a home base for Mackinac Island. My room was quite loud, especially early in the morning, which made it tough to get a good night's sleep. On the other hand, the breakfast coffee was impressive, and the hotel provided quick ferry ticket services at a reasonable price, adding value to my stay. However, I wish my room was in a quieter location for a more restful experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was a bit noisy, especially near the pool and restaurant area. I might recommend trying to get a room on a higher floor for a quieter stay.
Service
7.0
The staff was accommodating, but our request for a room change was not met with the best response initially. However, they were helpful in other aspects during my stay.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient for getting to the ferry for Mackinac Island, which was a plus, but being so close to the main intersection made it noisy.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent, with the coffee standing out as a highlight. However, the dining experience could be enhanced with quieter dining spaces.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the beach and pool were nice, but the noise levels could detract from the overall enjoyment.

I had a pleasant stay with access to a beautiful beach and an enjoyable indoor pool, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good, with some variety, but there were a few drawbacks like the broken hot tub and some cleanliness issues outside. Overall, it was good for the price, but there is room for improvement, especially in housekeeping.

Rooms
8.0
Our ground floor room had a lovely view of the water, but the setup with the sink outside the bathroom was a bit awkward. Still, the cleanliness was commendable for a beach area.
Service
7.0
Most staff were courteous and attentive, particularly with maintaining cleanliness around common areas. However, communication could be better, especially regarding issues like maintenance.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located right by the beach, which I loved, but getting to the registration building involved walking up a hill, which could be a hassle with luggage.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent with good options and included in our stay, which added to the overall enjoyment.
Facilities
7.0
The indoor pool was warm and a fun feature, but it was disappointing that the hot tub was closed during our visit.
